The test walk took place during the summer and autumn of 2011 and spring and summer 2012. Route: From Bowderdale Foot walk up the valley of Bowderdale following Bowderdale Beck to the head of the valley. At the head of the valley cross into Cautley valley and walk downhill to the A683 and The Cross Keys Inn.
